Staff

Harold served as Pastor of Marshes of Glynn Baptist Church for 17 years and retired in March of 2017. He and his wife then served for 3 years as volunteers at Ridgecrest Conference Center, Ridgecrest, NC. They moved back in June of 2020 and God led them to Southside Baptist where he did pulpit supply from October 2020 until May 2021. His desire is to be used of God to help grow the ministry at Southside so that it can support a full-time pastor to continue God’s work there.

Jackie Holton has served as Music Director at Southside Baptist Church since June 2015. He is a native of Brunswick, Georgia. Jackie was saved and baptized in 1967 at Sterling Baptist Church. He and Diane were married on April 17, 1987. They have two sons and four grandchildren.

Jackie has a heart for sharing the Gospel through music. He has previously ministered with the Gloryland Quartet and led music at Grace Baptist Church, formerly Lighthouse Community Baptist Church in Brunswick.
